What I do on baby-sitter days

October 25th, 2011

Draft a poem.
Read a dozen.
Eat chips straight from the bag.
Look at my watch.
Hurry, hurry.
Gobble down lunch.
Look at my watch.
Hurry, hurry.
Work, work, work.

Replace the poem parts with surfing the internet, and I’m there. Love that you include eating chips from the bag. Do Swiss chips satisfy? Sometimes I buy all the flavors of Kettle chips I can find in Germany, to feel like I have a choice. Danish chips are so bad, I’d rather eat nothing.
    I know!

There’s a pretty good Swiss brand of potato chips – the Swiss are big potato growers – and a multi-grain chip flavored with red chili pepper that I like. The boys are allowed chips, but not straight out of the bag, so that’s the decadent part of it. The best thing about babysitting day might actually be going a full 6 hours without having to Set An Example for anybody.
