OH MY GOD! How absolutely completely horrifying! I am SO glad you followed your gut instinct and went to the ER!

Oh my! I’m so glad they found this early and that the doctors were right on it instead of ignoring your symptoms. I’m sure there are many other less risky (for you) options out there to deal with PMS and I really hope you can find some kind of balance. Those raging hormones are no fun.

Your last two paragraphs took my breath, even though I know you’re okay now (or at least have caught the problem in time). I’m so glad you called your husband and went to the ER when you did rather than dismissing your concerns as silly. Oh so glad.

Oh my goodness! Thank heavens you got to a hospital. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been. I’ll have to remember to ignore the doctor’s advice to wait a month / take some Tylenol / have a cup of tea, and get some proper help if I ever feel the slightest bit panicky. I hope Dr Fantabulous will have a chance to review your file and see what his replacement got up to in his absence. Unbelievable.

Kinga – can’t seem to comment on your blog – I think I lost your feed when you changed platforms, so I’m glad you commented and I can re-feed you. Birth control pill/estrogen therapy are off the table forever now, no matter what turns out to have caused the clots. After this I won’t be allowed and, frankly, would be too scared. I’ll have to find something holistic for the PMS.

Oh my God…I too am glad that you didn’t wait a month. What a thing to have to live through, though. I hope the treatment works and you find another pill to help you deal with the PMS. I’m glad you went to the hospital and I’m glad you’re ok and I’m glad that the doctors know what caused your shortness of breath.
