A taste of Arosa
March 10th, 2009
I keep forgetting that vacation with two small boys is more properly termed a “change of scenery” or a “break in the routine” than a “restful vacation.” I am exhausted from trying to keep up with those two. I mean, with this
this
and this
going on, who could rest?
More words and pictures soon.

Oh but that looks like such good FUN!!! 🙂
Lots of wintery fun!! Did you ski too?
It was good fun. I’ve been going to Arosa for over a decade now, and this was some of the best snow I’ve ever seen. (Admitedly March snow is often better than late Dec/early Jan snow when we usually take a holiday.)
Julia – I don’t downhill anymore – I tore my ACL several years ago and never really got back into it and I find I don’t miss it. I did miss not getting onto the cross-country tracks this time around though.
My sister broke her knee downhill skiing and we both gave it up after that. She loves cross country though, and I’m looking forward to trying a little cross country next winter!
[…] the fog, the grey skies, the dirty melted snow, the brown fields. We’re off to the mountains for a week to recharge. Hopefully I’ll come back with stories, and the energy to tell them. […]
