    What are magpie days?
Magpie days are days like this . But they're also days like this .
    July tastes like…
school vacation. Heat. Humidity. Hanging geraniums tumbling off the balcony. The memory of five days on Cape Cod finding an unexpected tribe, getting extraordinary encouragement, and believing again that I can do powerful things with words. Words. July tastes like words.
